Parent Resources

CEC Childhood Research

We are pleased to announce the publication of our research paper with Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. The research was conducted during the 2009-2010 program year and focused on preschool children and their skill development in the natural outdoor classroom. The CEC was one of three programs (the other two were in Minnesota and Nebraska) selected by Dimensions to conduct research on children and the outdoors. The paper identifies the skills children develop as well as other factors that influenced their development.
